• Serve as technical lead and technical project manager on various digital banking projects such as branch automation, Flocash payment gateway integration, Safaricom airtime top-up, postpaid, & M-pesa services integration
• Lead & implement integration projects with third-parties
• Maintain high availability of the digital banking platform
• Work on IBM API Connect & App Connect Enterprise ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) to implement integration in a service-oriented architecture
• System integration & user acceptance testing

Hidasie Telecom — IT Strategy & Innovation Manager

May 2016 – June 2022

• Led the development of bulk SMS system and contact center database for short code 8520 as a project leader and software engineer
• Supervised implementation of two Electronic airtime Voucher Distribution systems – normal EVD system & wallet-based EVD system (https://admin.hidasie.et , https://admin.htpay.et )
• Supervised integration of eTopUP prepaid mobile phone airtime recharge system in partnership with Bank of Abyssinia & Ethio Electronic Kifiya (First Global Data). This experience has helped me gain a deep understanding of fintech, banking operations & risk based auditing
• Supervised implementation of Shareholder Management & Voting System
• Led the development of Hidasie Telecom website ( https://www.hidasietele.com ) as project leader and full stack web developer
• Supervised implementation of ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning system consisting of Human Resource Management Module integrated with attendance machine, Inventory Management Module, Sales & CRM Module, Procurement Management Module, and Finance Module)  http://erp.hidasietele.com
• Participated in the restructuring of IT department’s organizational structure
• Took Telebirr mobile money TOT (Training of Trainers) training before its launch & provided the training to 15 partner trainees in partnership with Ethio Telecom
